Cold Shrinkable stress control tubes tubes are a series of open-ended, tubular rubber sleeves, which are factory expanded and assembled onto a removable core. It is designed for medium and high voltage cable terminations and joints achieved by surrounding the high stress areas of a high voltage cable with a tube composed of high permittivity homogeneous material.

The core is removed after the cold shrink tube has been positioned for installation over an inline connection, termination and joints allowing the tube to shrink and form a constant radial pressure seal.
