Insulation Piercing Connector

Insulation Piercing Connector is weatherproof connectors for aluminium and /or copper main and branch conductors. 

 The teeth are either of pure aluminium or tin-plated aluminium. The shape of the teeth prevents the water from entering into conductor this protecting the conductor against corrosion.

    • Installation steps:


    ·         1)  Identify the correct cable, using a phase seperator.

    ·         2)  Mount the main side on the selected cable. Loosen the nut if necessary.

    ·         3)  Take the tab cable to the tab side, make sure its end is teminated inside the grease filled end cap

    ·         4)  Tighten the share nut, using the specific spanner size, till the top small nex nut shears off. and remove the phase seperator.
